Tuesday 8th March is the date set for International Women's Day (IWD) 2022, and we encourage clubs to kick start preparations now in advance with our SheSails templates.

The IWD 2022 campaign theme is #BreakTheBias, full details surrounding the theme can be found on the International Women's Day website and below you will find details of the SheSails / International Women's Day templates to use as shout outs honoring those at your clubs, making a difference to Women and Girls in Sailing. 

There are two (2) easy to use SheSails International Womens Day templates available for download via the Marketing toolkit page on the SheSails website which are also detailed below.

1)    Social media shout out – an easy to use template so clubs can insert an image of someone that is championing Women and Girls sailing activity at their club. From coaches, event organisers and volunteers, give them a shout out in the lead up or on International Womens Day by inserting their image and their Name / Role in the space provided on the template. Then select Save As and select JPEG file to save as an image (screenshot below) so that you can then post to Facebook and Instagram. Remember to use hashtags #BreakTheBias #IWD2022 #SheSails 

2)    Poster template – clubs can customise this International Womens Day Event poster for their club. Insert details of the event and print / display around the club or save as a jpg and post on your club socials. Simply download and insert club logo and event copy, save and print.
