Tell us how you first got involved with Sailing
Mum and dad had a sailing boat that we lived on in the summers in Sweden. And they got me and my sister an optimist.
There are many pathways in sailing, where has your journey taken you?
I am a commercial skipper. So I drive vessels for a living. I have worked in Europe, Caribbean and all around Australia. Wherever I go I get involved in sailing. Now we have our own racing yacht in Brisbane
Whatever part of sailing you belong to, tell us about what you enjoy about your sport?
I love offshore racing and I love windward leeward racing. Working as a team with one goal, the focus on getting there as fast and safe as we can.
What would you say to someone thinking about getting into sailing?
Do it. Go to your local club and get involved. Welcome onboard our yacht to find out your self.
Tell us your favourite story ….
Finishing in Hobart after sailing our J-Bird 2 handed there after 3 years of rebuilding her. We had done it!
