There are many pathways in sailing, where has your journey taken you?

Whatever part of sailing you belong to, tell us about what you enjoy about your sport?
After an accident that limited my movement for a number of years, I started car rallying, which is remarkably similar, as far as motion control and balance is concerned. Used to love reaching from Northbridge to Seaforth in a southerly buster in my moth.
What would you say to someone thinking about getting into sailing?

Ex husband and I would, every winter, sail from Brisbane to the Whitsundays in our yacht, and have a month up there. This was in the 60s when the resorts welcomed visiting yachts.
