Firstly, nothing beats being out on the ocean under sail. Competing, team work, learning new skills, the camaraderie.
What would you say to someone thinking about getting into sailing?
Just do it. You’ll love it!
Tell us your favourite story ….
The Buchanan Island race in 2019. No wind and the tide was against it. Took us 4 hrs to do the last 2 miles but we were determined to finish. It was a huge sense of achievement that we were the only boat to finish although it took us 19 hours.
