Published Tue 15 Dec 2020
How long have you been in the sport of Sailing?
7 Years
What Club, Association or company are you involved with?
Darwin Sailing Club
What Part do you play in our sport?
Sailor
Tell us how you first got involved with Sailing.
My older sister started sailing, so naturally I followed.
There are many pathways in sailing, where has your journey taken you?
It's taken me to some of my best friends, moments and adventures. I have been lucky enough to have already criss-crossed around Australia with my family to multiple minnow and laser nationals.
Whatever part of sailing you belong to, tell us about what you enjoy about your sport?
The friends, sunshine and salt.
What would you say to someone thinking about getting into sailing?
The connection you get with the ocean is something incredibly special. The friends you make are for life. And the moments and memories you make out on the water are some of the most humbling and precious ones you will ever make.
Tell us your favourite story ….
In Darwin, surrounded by my friends, sailing rudderless and standing on the front of our boats, watching the sunset, and laughing hysterically at one another about some cringe joke said.
