Women doing it for themselves - Racing towards International Women’s Day

Next Property Group have announced that they are the 2020 sponsorship partner for the Mooloolaba Yacht Club’s Women’s Sailing Program.  The announcement coincides with International Women’s Day which falls on Sunday 8 March.  International Women’s Day is a global day that celebrates the social, economic. cultural and political achievements of women.

 


“Next Property Group are delighted to come on board and sponsor the Mooloolaba Yacht Club’s Women’s sailing program” said Loren Wimhurst, founder of Next Property Group. “The skills developed through this program provide women with confidence both on and off the water and we look forward to watching this program grow and encourage women of all ages to sign up and be part of a wonderful community club”.


The program is designed for women who have some sailing skills and who would like to continue to improve their skills. Kerry Teed, a long-term member of the Club said: “Whether women choose to become more involved in competitive racing or would just like to be on the water, making new friends and having fun, the Women’s Sailing program is there to support them”.
